The IPS CMS system is now compatible with kACARS!

kACARS is state-of-the-art logging software, which is now also compatible with the IPS CMS! kACARS is a regular Windows application which needs to be downloaded from the VA's website. Then the application will download flight information from the website and it will connect to the user's FS and log the flight.

It is available as an add-on module (which handles the communication between the server and the application) for installation on the IPS Integration package or Complete website packages. It is available in the following forms:

kACARS_Free module (€20)

This is for use with the free kACARS. If you are looking for more functionalities in the program you need a custom kACARS version (see below).

Custom kACARS module (€30)

A customized kACARS version contains a lot more functions than the free version. For example chat, timetable search, live METARs. Get your customized kACARS at fs-producst.net!
Note: the customized kACARAS module includes the Status Indicator.

Two important notes about using kACARS (both free and custom) with the IPS CMS:

		It only works with the timetable system installed: a flight needs to be booked for the kACARS application to download the flight data;
		kACARS can only be used by pilots flying offline if running on a system with an activated IPS system.

The most important reason for a VA owner to buy this additional module is to provide an option to log offline flights for offline flying pilots.
