IPS Cron Service
Some servers do not support cronjobs, the IPS Cron Service is there to help!
Cronjob???
A cronjob is comparible to the Windows task scheduler. The IPS is a PHP script, so it is not an application which is constantly running. Because of that it needs to be "started" every minute or so. A cronjob is a scheduled task which starts a predefined script at a predifined interval; ideal for the IPS!
But if your server doesn't support cronjobs, don't be sad!
That's exactly the reason why we introduced the IPS Cron Service (IPSCS).
This is a service which runs on our server and starts your script on your server at an interval of one minute (another interval may be defined).
